Julie Markfield is a painter and graphic designer living and working in the Los Angeles area. She
experiences joy through, and is energized by, her spontaneous, intuitive approach to painting.
Her creative process is both instinctive and well-informed, and her style is gestural. Markfield mixes

Markfield holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. She has addional
