Ave Pildas: Paper Movies

Tufenkian Fine Arts is pleased to present, Paper Movies, a solo show featuring artworks by photographer and designer Ave Pildas. Paper Movies represents the artist’s interaction as a photographer and designer with pedestrian traffic beginning in 2008. These collages of multiple images are shot in public spaces, allowing the artist to interact with bystanders. In these works, Pildas provides a captivating peak into how, over the span nearly half a century, the streets and peoples of Los Angeles have both changed and remained the same. We are thrilled to announce that this will be the artist’s first show at the gallery.
